Final Outcome for Self Conflict, to show skill in photoshop.

I was very please with how this piece turned out, It looks great and it has a very moody and climatic tone to it, I used colour grading and increasing the contrast and drowning out the natural colours from orange to a blue helped make it seem as if it fitted in with the background which is always important.

Looking at it now the only thing I would say I could improve on this piece is the floor below the characters as the texture I used just doesn't look tight that may be due to the stretching I applied to it to make it look as if it is on a 3rd dimension instead of something flat and unrealistic in hopes of giving the piece depth and realism.

I really liked the effected I used to make the characters look wet due to the rain, on the character in the vest I used the filter plastic wrap, sparingly however as if I put it on the whole character it would've look terrible so I only used it on the shoulders and arms, and for the rest and the other character I painted the water droplets and running water on with a tablet.

After that I applied a misting effect to make it look like the rain is hitting the characters and splintering off into tiny particles.

Evidence For Self Conflict

Putting the chosen photos together to provide the main part of the fight.

I made this image from the following photographs below; of which I chose out of a large group.
From here I will remove the background and add my own in, amongst other things.

I had to look through all of the photos to see which ones matched up the best in order to give a realistic reaction to one another to make it look convincing and not just two photos badly matched up together.

Photographs for self conflict.

Using a self timer I took many photographs of various positions which I thought may occur in a fight, some I even tried to match with the other.

When taking the photos I had to think about how the other character would be reacting or positioned in correspondence with the other such as reacting to a punch if the other was throwing his fists, or bending in pain if kicked and so on.

Graphics Fight Secondary Images

This I will use for the ground which the characters will stand upon. For this I could've taken a photo for this, however I was unfamiliar with using SLR cameras and this is the first major thing I have attempted on photoshop so I though it would be best to take pre-existing work off of the internet instead.

Used as a background for the piece. I lacked primary imagery for a background as this is my first time trying to make something with a backdrop such as this and I doubt I would've been able to take a photo like this, and I needed a lot of drama in my piece.
The contrast and very monotone colours seemed fitting and it was great for creating an epic looking scene.

As an addition to the floor acts as a border for the edge of the building which they are standing on.
I copy and paste this image twice and transform it to create a 3d form which acts as the border on top of the roof to show the edges.

Self Conflict - explanation.

I am to make a piece which features photos of myself interacting with one another to present my skill in photoshop. I have chosen that my images will be fighting each other, as I believe this will possess a challenge for me something which I am always looking for in order to progress my skills in this relatively new field.

I hope that it will go as swimmingly as I have imagined it will be.
